April 13 - Global Day of Action on Military Spending

Pax Christi invites us to connect the dots between war and poverty, and to take action related to the high costs of military spending not only in our country but around the world. We might ask ourselves whether such expenditures have improved security on a global level. Also, who is it that suffers most from bloated defense budgets? The National Priorities Project and the Coalition on Human Needs provide information for our reflection.
